The outlying vilages near Borley are many of them just as old style as Borley. Belchamp Walter, Belchamp St. Paul, Eyston, Pentlow and Liston, are some of them. Suffolk owed its prosperity to the Wollen prosperity brought over by the displaced Flemings.
Borley never felt it. It is truly rural. The people are worth a chapter.
