I am a Swiss citizen of 40 years of age. The Swiss Defence Department
employs me as an expert on civil protection (catastrophe/disaster
managment).
My main research subjects are "Cryptozoology" (mainly unidentified water
creatures and big cats) and "Psychical Research".
My interest in the unidentified, animated, aquatic objects of Loch Ness
began about 30 years ago. My active participation in the ongoing researches
started about 14 years ago. They are divided between camera surface
surveillance, professional sonar sweeps out of my boat and of course
amassing and analysing any available information on the subject. In the
meantime, I made about 40 trips to Loch Ness.
Nearly five years ago, I created the non-profit "Loch Ness Newsclipping
Service" magazine of which fifteen issues are now in print.
Being a member of the British "Society for Psychical Research", I am of
course always in search of interesting paranormal cases to gain more insight
into their elusive pattern.
I often take the opportunity to visit and even sometimes to stay in haunted
houses. During my vigils I use tape-recorders, an infrared camera, special
thermometers, EMF meters and a night-vision device.
In the last few years I published several articles in British and US papers
on my research subjects.
Most of my own respective photographic material (of about 250 different
haunted sites) is managed by the well known paranormal authors and
photographers Janet and Colin Bord of the Fortean Picture Library.
I visited and made inquires at Borley on several occasions and stayed also
in the haunted room of the Bull Hotel in Long Melford.
Looking very much forward to your news, I remain with my best regards to you
and all "Borley Ghost Society" members.
